Safety & trust

Is it safe to hire a sourcing agent in China from abroad?

Safety comes from structure, not promises. Shanghai Bridge uses a named contact plus a registered sole-proprietor business licence (sensitive fields masked on public display), staged payment where you release the balance only after inspection evidence, and a case-by-case dispute process. You can also request a video call before any payment.

How do I verify who you really are?

We share a registered business licence (masked) and can provide a no-crime-record summary on request. A live video call before payment is standard practice, and every agreement is backed by the sole-proprietor entity you can pursue.

What if something goes wrong with my order?

If something goes wrong, we resolve it case by case. Settlement is frozen while the dispute is open, so your balance is not released until it is resolved.

What proof do I get on each order?

Standard deliverables on every order: check-in photo, on-site or handover video, receipts/invoices, and a completion note. You see what we see, in real time — before any balance is released.

Payment & orders

How does the payment work — do you hold my money?

We do not float your funds. Goods and material costs go directly to the supplier or a segregated settlement, and our service fee is collected in stages and you release the balance only after you review inspection photos and video — we never ask for 100% upfront. Settlement freezes during an open dispute.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) you handle?

We are small-MOQ friendly. Many clients start with a single sample, a small batch, or one errand. We do not require container-load minimums to take on a job — tell us the quantity and we quote the realistic cost.

Can you handle export and shipping for me?

Yes. Export is handled under a formal agency agreement: we coordinate supplier, inspection, and booking, and hand off to your freight forwarder or ours. We are an agent, not a manufacturer, so we never mark up goods as our own production.

Language & communication

Do you speak English? How do we communicate?

Yes — all client communication is in English (written and on calls). WeChat and WhatsApp are both supported, and we reply the same business day during business hours (09:00–21:00 China time).

What are your reply hours?

We reply every inquiry the same business day during business hours (09:00–21:00 China time). Outside those hours, we reply by next morning. We do not promise around-the-clock availability — we are a focused team, not a call center.

Errands & empty-home care

I live overseas — can you pay my Shanghai bills or receive a package?

Yes. Our errand service covers bill payment, document pickup, package receiving, and local runs. You do not need a Chinese app or bank account — we handle it on your behalf and send photo proof.

How often should empty-home checks happen, and what is in the report?

Most owners choose monthly checks. Each report includes ventilation status, meter readings, a walk-through photo set, and a short note on anything unusual. Frequency is flexible — weekly, monthly, or per-visit.

Still have a question?

Tell us what you're trying to buy, fix, check, or deliver in Shanghai. We'll reply the same business day in business hours with a clear next step.
